Is Spy Hunter Any Good...?
Spy Hunter VS. XoftSpySE
We purchased and took Spy Hunter for a test drive...To be honest, it didn't work very well at removing spyware from our computers. After scanning and cleansing with Spy Hunter, we ran a backup test with XoftSpySE and actually found and removed 83 more spyware programs that Spy Hunter had missed.

XoftSpySE is the most popular malware removal tool on the web, and for good reason. It detects the widest variety of threats and is extremely fast. Virus definitions are updated frequently and the software is very easy to use.

NoAware is easily the second most favored malware removal tool, second only to XoftSpy. It creates no trouble to you, minimized to tray, as you browse as you normally would. NoAdware picks up a lot of the adware that other tools sometimes overlook.

AdwareAlert is still an up and coming removal tool, and although it does not currently have as many virus definitions as XoftSpySE and NoAdware, it's already light years ahead of most of the other removal tools on the market.

The interface is very easy to grasp. It's one of the oldest removal tools and has continued to improve over time. Unfortunately, it misses some key spyware in it's scanning and doesn't measure up to the others listed above.
